Radiotherapy and other nuisances

So, Radiation treatment is going pretty well for My Mom, I think. Okay, on second thought, she’s like me to think that, but it just doesn’t look like it. She’s really tired, doesn’t have a lot of energy. It’s sapping all of her strength. The funny thing about this cancer, is that the treatment seems to be doing more damage than the actual cancer. Okay, so I know that the cancer cells were malignant, and if they hadn’t cought them in time, they would have done some damage. But really, she used to be pretty energetic. Now, she’s just……………. tired. also, She was telling me that chemo had been really good to her, that she wasn’t puking or anything. In fact, the only visible sign was her hair loss. Except, a short while ago, my Dad made a comment about it that made me think she might have had some chemo issues. He was kinda intoxicated at the time, so it really isn’t his fault. He drinks to forget his troubles alot, he is really stressed. The feel of my house right now, it’s just tension. Tempers are running high, everyone’s tired of working. But we have to, because Mom can’t do anything. Dad comes home and he cooks dinner for everybody, then ha works late into the night to get all of his work donw. Then, he wakes up at 5:00 – 6:00 ish every morning to go to work. My sister and I don’t work as hard, but we have to take care of Mom and everything. then, Dad’s really stressed and he yells at us. Okay, I don’t even know why I’m writing this on my blog where everyone can read it, oh well, it isn’t like anyone regularly looks at it anyway. So, yup, there’s my update on the cancer situation at home. Huzzah. Now you guys can go live your lovely cancer free lives now, isn’t it great.
